A Sutton Harbour send-off for The Artemis Transat.
After a week of harbourside events, entertainment, a French Market, corporate entertaining and international media interest, Sunday 11th May 2008 saw the start of the Artemis Transat at Sutton Harbour Plymouth. The Artemis Transat is the oldest solo ocean race in history - a 2800 mile race across the Atlantic, alone - and this year for the first time Sutton Harbour was home to the fleet of IMOCA 60 and Class 40 yachts preparing for the start of the race.
