Timberland comes to Sutton Harbour

The“Take Back the Water” event will see a fortnight of promotional activity from August 2 to August 14 centred around a specially designed pop up shop, decked out like a boat and appropriately named ‘The Timberland’.

Branded prizes will be on offer for the best ‘sailors’ excelling in free, fun challenges including a rigging race, winch race and deck run.
A range of innovative deck shoes will be available to purchase from the stand offering effortless style as well as functionality, including the Formentor Boat Shoe as worn by the Spanish Olympic Sailing Team, alongside the Classic boat shoe and ladies Ballerina slip-ons.

Charlotte Malcolm, Commercial Marketing Manager for Sutton Harbour Group, said: “We’re delighted to have attracted a quality global brand such as Timberland to Sutton Harbour for what should be a colourful and fun two weeks of activity.

“It is part of a packed programme of maritime themed events which Sutton Harbour is supporting including the recent race week and the annual Classic Boat Rally, which is taking place this weekend.”

The Timberland will be ‘moored’ on the Barbican quaysides of Sutton Marina from Tuesday August 2 until Sunday August 14 and will be open 10am – 6pm Monday to Saturday and 11am – 5pm Sunday.
