Sutton Harbour welcomes world’s fastest powerboat.
Earthrace - the fastest and greenest powerboat in the world will be welcomed into Plymouth when it arrives at Sutton Harbour tomorrow (Thursday 21 August 2008).
Visitors to the Barbican will be able to get on board and see the boat first hand whilst it’s moored up in the city until Sunday (24 August).....
Boom in visitors to Sutton Harbour Marina.
Sutton Harbour Marina has seen a boom in the number of visiting boats this summer. Mark Brimacombe, the Marina Manager, said: “This year we have continued to improve the facilities within the marina complex and combined with Sutton Harbour’s sheltered waters and our prime location just minutes away from shops, restaurants and the attractions of the Barbican mean we are seeing a real boom in visitors.”....
Sutton Harbour Festival programme unveiled.
The Port of Plymouth Yacht Regatta, the annual Plymouth Classic Boat Rally and a variety of on-shore activities come together to form the Sutton Harbour Festival from 26 July - 3 August. Based around Plymouth's historic Barbican, the event promises to offer something for everyone whether afloat or onshore. Details of the Festival Programme have been unveiled....

When the weather is warm and sunny our thoughts turn to outside living. Sutton Harbour Marina now has a new alfresco seating area on the jetty overlooking the boats on the marina, along with a free luxury coffee machine in the marina reception office....

Berth holders and yachtsmen visiting Sutton Harbour Marina are being encouraged to extend their recycling to when they’re alongside or on the water with the launch of Plymouth’s first marina recycling....
A Sutton Harbour send-off for The Artemis Transat.
After a week of harbourside events, entertainment, a French Market, corporate entertaining and international media interest, Sunday 11th May 2008 saw the start of the Artemis Transat at Sutton Harbour Plymouth....

The 13 IMOCA 60s and 11 Class40 boats competing in The Artemis Transat 2008 are now all berthed at Sutton Harbour, Plymouth having arrived over the weekend....
